Lawrence University awarded bachelor of arts and bachelor of music degrees to 366 seniors June 15, 2014 at the college's 165th commencement. Broadcast journalist Charles Gibson, former anchor of ABC's "World News" and long-time co-anchor of "Good Morning, America," was awarded an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree as part of the ceremonies.

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 170th commencement ceremony May 11. The Ohio Wesleyan Class of 2014 included 390 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with 65 cum laude, 33 magna cum laude, and 20 summa cum laude honorees. Four students - Karli Amstadt, Alyssa Carothers, Jessica Martin, and Carolyn Thompson - graduated with perfect 4.0 grade point averages. Congratulations to OWU's newest alumni!

The following students have been named to the President's List at Western New England for the spring semester of 2014. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2013-14 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Troy University has recognized students for making the Provost's List for 2014 Spring Semester/Term 4. The Provost's List honors students who have earned a 3.65 or higher Grade Point Average during the previous academic period.

Augustana College, Rock Island, Ill., held its spring commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 25. Congresswoman Cheri Bustos delivered the commencement speech, and more than 600 students participated in the ceremony.

Troy University has recognized students for making the Chancellor's List for the 2014 Spring Semester/Term 4. The Chancellor's list honors students who have earned a 4.0 Grade Point Average during that term.
